This past weekend, Medilodge of Yale had a blast hosting special visitors! 🎉 We were thrilled to sponsor the Hogtown Run for Hospice! We kept everyone energized with cold water and freshly grilled hotdogs! 🌭 Our residents loved watching the incredible bikes! Did you know? Skilled nursing facilities and nursing homes are not quite the same.

Skilled nursing provides physician-directed medical care and rehabilitation after an illness, injury, or surgery. Nursing homes primarily provide ongoing help with daily living.

Skilled nursing stays are often short-term and recovery-focused (though can be ongoing to treat chronic conditions,) while nursing home care is usually long-term.

We had a wonderful time hosting our Community BBQ at the Veterans Memorial Park here at MediLodge of Yale! It’s safe to say everyone enjoyed the freshly grilled hot dogs, delicious sweets, and great company.
Our Veterans Memorial Park truly provides a serene sanctuary, with plenty of shade and a peaceful atmosphere to relax and escape for a moment.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day so special. And a very special thank you to our amazing staff for all of their hard work and dedication in making this event a success!
