If the holiday decorations are already showing up in stores (they are), it’s okay to start thinking about the months ahead.

You walk into the store for school supplies or Halloween decorations, and there they are – Christmas trees, menorahs, ornaments, and twinkling lights. For many families caring for a loved one with dementia, this is also the moment another thought quietly arrives: “How are we going to do the holidays this year?” If you’re asking yourself that question, you’re not alone.

A special afternoon of culture, history, and dance! 💃✨

A heartfelt thank-you to our residents Lois and Paul for sharing their daughter, Tamra, and her friend Mindy with us! Tamra and Mindy led an engaging adult education program on the history of belly dancing and even treated us to a beautiful traditional dance. What a wonderful way to learn, experience, and enjoy something new together!

Thank you to Frank from Vitality Hospice and Palliative Care for leading our residents in a fun ceramic cupcake craft and some deliciously fun cupcake trivia! 🎨🧁 And, of course, we topped it all off with cupcakes for dessert! 💕
