⚡ NexiREADY: ENERGY ⚡

🧵✨ Mr. Wince is putting his energy into progress at Yazoo City! During his occupational therapy session, he worked on fine motor coordination, dexterity, and hand strength through a bead-threading activity designed to improve the skills needed for everyday tasks such as buttoning shirts, managing zippers, and completing dressing activities independently.

By focusing on hand coordination, visual-motor skills, and finger control, Mr. Wince is building the confidence and abilities needed for greater independence in his daily routine. We are proud of his hard work and determination as he continues making strides toward his goals and achieving greater independence every day.

💙🚶‍♂️ NexiREADY Series: Routine 🚶‍♂️💙

Mr. Adams recently participated in a skilled OT/PT co-treatment session focused on improving functional mobility, walking endurance, and safety with daily activities. Therapy interventions emphasized safe gait mechanics, posture, balance, endurance, and energy conservation strategies while navigating his environment.

Throughout the session, verbal and tactile cues were provided to reinforce proper pacing, walker management, and hazard awareness to help reduce fall risk and promote independence. Mr. Adams demonstrated great participation and determination, taking rest breaks as needed while continuing to work toward his goals.

We are proud of the progress he is making as he builds strength, confidence, and mobility on his journey toward a safe return to the least restrictive environment. Keep up the great work, Mr. Adams! 👏✨

Although this year has brought physical and emotional challenges, Ms. McKinnon continues to show resilience, determination, and a positive attitude every step of the way.
