Full Circle Moment 🥹 💫

Over the weekend I had the privilege of providing a restorative assisted stretching session to none other than Mr. Andrew Yang.

The full circle part? The whole reason I live in Yellow Springs started with him. (So whether you love me being here or not, he’s the one to thank or blame! 😉)

Andrew Yang ran for President during the 2020 election, and I became one of the regional organizers for his campaign. What a time that was..especially when Dave Chappelle stepped in to support the campaign which was a HUGE deal to a grassroots campaign.

Dave hosted a benefit comedy show for the campaign and because of that I decided to go see Dave live sometime soon.

“Sometime soon” was the pandemic. My friend Daniel and I decided to take the trip from the east coast to Yellow Springs, Ohio for one of the original (and incredible) Dave Chappelle Summer Camp shows. The second I pulled into town, I heard a clear voice tell me, “You’re moving here.”

Nine months later, I did.

Now, five years later, I own a small business here in Yellow Springs, helping our community live better naturally, and I just got to work with the man who indirectly started it all.

Life has a wild way of coming around. Grateful for every step of the journey, and grateful for my friends, Dave Chappelle and Andrew Yang. 🙏🏽💫
