Last night, Rural Nevada Counseling had the honor of presenting a $2,000 scholarship to Aurora Buergin from Silver Stage High School. Aurora also received the Millennium Scholarship and plans to attend the University of Nevada, Reno this fall.
Chairman Ed Loughrey and Sheena Leonard were proud to present the award and celebrate Aurora’s hard work and bright future. Congratulations, Aurora — we can’t wait to see all you accomplish!

We want to give a huge thank you to Bonnie’s Plants for their generous annual donation to our transitional living house.

Operations Manager Sal Acosta proudly accepted the donation, which gives the men in our house the opportunity to grow their own produce each year. This is something they look forward to all year long — not only for the fresh vegetables, but for the chance to nurture, care for, and love something as they watch it grow.

We are incredibly grateful for Bonnie’s Plants and their continued support of our program and the men we serve. 🌱💚
