☕️ What a way to start the day!

A special thank you to the folks at the soon-to-open 7 Brew Coffee in Hanover for providing a pick-me-up for our team members at Utz Terrace earlier this week! Ahead of its August 31 grand opening, the new 7 Brew team has been spreading the love — and the caffeine — by delivering more than 15,000 free drinks to local businesses, schools, churches and organizations across town.

🎶Who says Christmas is only for December?🎄

Last month, residents at Concordia at SpiriTrust Shrewsbury celebrated Christmas in July with cake, live music and a festive “summertime” Christmas tree! It was a fun-filled celebration with plenty of holiday spirit — summer style!

Music has a special way of bringing people together! 🎶

Residents at the Utz Terrace personal care residence look forward to Musical Voices, an hour filled with singing, rhythm instruments and plenty of smiles. For years, dedicated musical volunteer and independent living resident Marlene Shilling has shared her wonderful talents with our residents. Thank you, Marlene, for your kindness, dedication and the joy you bring through music!

🌑🕶️ Making the most of a little celestial excitement!

Team members at The Village at Utz Terrace took a moment on August 12 to look up and enjoy the partial solar eclipse — safely, of course! ☀️🌙 With solar eclipse glasses in hand, they got a front-row view of this special sight in the sky.

Residents of the Utz Terrace personal care residence and skilled care center enjoyed a beach party recently with local entertainer Dan Martin! Music from the 50s and 60s had the residents singing and clapping their hands. It was a fun afternoon that brought back memories and created new ones! 🌴🎶🏖

Recently, skilled care residents at Sprenkle Drive celebrated National Love Is Kind Day by creating the word “KINDNESS” using colorful pom-pom art! Each letter was carefully crafted and is now proudly displayed on our gallery wall as a beautiful reminder to everyone that kindness matters. Some residents preferred not to have their pictures taken with their letters, so staff stepped in to help complete the word.

This was a very tedious craft, but our residents’ patience and creativity paid off. In the end, it turned out beautiful! A wonderful reminder that a little kindness can make a big difference. 💗

Luther Ridge Ladies’ Spa Day! 🌴🍹🎶

What a fun and relaxing afternoon! Our ladies enjoyed tropical mimosas, relaxing Hawaiian music, hand soaks and beautiful manicures — all while spending time together and enjoying a little pampering. It was the perfect way to relax, laugh and enjoy some well-deserved “me time!” Aloha, ladies! Until the next Spa Day!
