Last week, we celebrated Gorgeous Grandma Day with the wonderful team from Interim HealthCare & Hospice Team Virginia and our lovely glamas! Our residents enjoyed a special day of pampering with makeovers, followed by a fun photo session to capture their beautiful smiles and confidence. It was such a joy celebrating these amazing women and making them feel as gorgeous as they truly are! 💖📸

Our wonderful neighbors from Coastal Church stopped by our community this morning for a fun-filled visit! 💙 We enjoyed playing games, getting creative with crafts, and spending quality time together. We had an amazing tropical happy hour filled with delicious Dole Whips and fresh fruit while learning about the wonderful services our friends from Interim HealthCare & Hospice Team Virginia and Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care have to offer our residents and families.

🎉 Two years. Countless memories. One amazing family. ❤️

Two years ago, the first residents walked through our doors, and Harper’s Station Yorktown officially became a home.

Since then, we’ve welcomed more than 160 incredible residents who have filled these halls with laughter, friendship, music, celebrations, and enough sweet treats to keep our fitness classes in business. 🍪💃

Around here, we’re serious about caring for one another—but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Whether we’re dancing at Happy Hour, dressing up for themed events, laughing over bingo, or being just a little bit goofy, we’ve learned that growing older doesn’t mean growing up.

One of our favorite traditions is watching our incredible Resident Ambassadors welcome each new neighbor with open arms, proving that the best part of Harper’s Station has never been the building—it’s the people who make it feel like home.

To every resident, family member, team member, volunteer, and friend who has been part of this journey, thank you. You have helped create a community filled with love, purpose, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Here’s to two wonderful years of calling Harper’s Station Yorktown home… and to many more celebrations ahead.
