✨️NEW✨️ Palo Santo Wands

Palo Santo, which translates from Spanish to "Holy Wood," is a sacred tree (Bursera graveolens) native to South American countries. For centuries, indigenous cultures have used its fragrant wood for spiritual purification, meditation, and traditional medicine. Our Holy Wood has been dressed with Rose petals, Lavender, Chamomile & Sage to invite love, peace, tranquility and positive energy into your space.

How To Use:

Light the tip: Hold one end of the stick downward at a 45-degree angle. Use a lighter, match, or candle to ignite the floral wax & wood tip.

Let it catch: Carefully allow to burn openly for about 20 to 30 seconds to establish a glowing ember.

Blow out the flame: Gently blow or wave out the active fire. The stick will begin to release a thick, aromatic wave of white smoke.

Set your intention: Focus your thoughts on what you want to clear or manifest. Walk slowly around your space, directing the smoke into corners, doorways, and windows. Safely wave around your body & hair to sweep away stagnant energy.

Safely extinguish: Place the smoking stick in a fireproof ceramic, glass, or abalone shell bowl. The embers will naturally extinguish on their own within a few minutes. Do not use water.

Mid to Late August is a great time to sow seeds in Zone 8a because the intense summer heat begins to wane, but we still have warm days and a long enough frost-free window to grow a highly productive second harvest for the fall and winter.

Here is the list of seeds I am currently sowing:

Cauliflower
Cilantro
Parsley
Kale
Chervil
Swiss chard
Feverfew
Mustard
Arugala
Tatsoi
Broccoli
Cabbage
Zinnias

I wait until the last week of August to get my root veggies directly sown:

Beets
Radishes
Turnips
Carrots

In this new series, I will be sharing the herbal benefits of the tea blends that I formulate for The Herbalist's Garden.

Today, we're enjoying a pot of Bellyache tea for digestive support.

Bellyache features chamomile, which is a fantastic antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory herb.

It also has marshmallow root, which is a soothing, demulcent herb that helps calm mucosal tissues.

Licorice root, which helps heal and repair mucosal cells.

It has lemon balm as well, which helps address underlying stress that could lead to digestive upset.

Mint, which we actually have here today, that is a fantastic, strong intestinal anti-spasmodic and fennel, which is a fast-acting carminative for gas and bloating.

You can find my Bellyache tea on my website.

And if you're looking for a tea blend for a specific health goal of yours, I also offer consultations, which you can book through the link in my bio.
