Does the world of possibility of being a new mom excite you the way it excites me?! It is a magical, mysterious time but the possibilities are endless. Don't let that weigh you down. Allow it to set you free! As blank slate, you get to try and fail and try again. You get to grow and shift and define what being a parent looks like for you. And you can do that no matter how many kids you already have!

What do you want your ever-changing life to look like? You get to define it. YOUR POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!

Even a planned pregnancy comes with a lot of questions and uncertainty. Once you've come down from the initial excitement, it is time to make that to do list and start planning. Is a doula on your list? It should be!
Will Google answer all your questions?
Does your OB/midwife answer your texts?
Who's going to help keep your partner calm in the moment?

A Doula is your guide through it all. They will help you and your partner navigate the questions, the information, the emotions. No question is the wrong one, no information is too complicated, and no emotion is too big.

You gotta be you! This is back to remind you that your journey is your own. If you are doing things differently than someone on the internet recommended but it works for you, then keep rocking! If you are struggling when everyone appears to be thriving, know that your path is different and that's OK! Just because your journey doesn't look the same as someone else's doesn't mean you are failing.

parenting
Most aspects of life!

Surround yourself with those who support your journey. 💞
And don't forget the value of a doula. 😉

She does what she wants. Social norms do not apply. She will choose violence on the daily.

Anyone else with a different kind of baby? These pandemic babies are telling the world that it is irrelevant and that they will do as they please!

But it is a reminder to not compare your journey to anyone else. Especially not someone you see only on social media! These babies know that it will do NO good to compare your pregnancy, your delivery, your recovery, your post partum, your baby, or your family to anyone else.

These babies are wise so let's listen!
