Do know that our team practices from the DIR/Floortime perspective? All of our clinical staff have training in the Floortime model and approach therapy by "meeting them where they are at" and respecting individual differences.

We've got games!

Games and More Games! offers children from 6-12 years old an opportunity to have fun, make new friends, and build skills while enjoying a both familiar and new games. They won't even realize all the skills they are building as they play competitively and cooperatively in a wide variety of structured play!

Led by our experienced pediatric therapists, this group helps children develop skills including executive function skills (attention, impulse control, emotional regulation, task persistence, initiation, and problem solving), cognition and language skills, social skills, visual motor/perceptual and motor skills.

Each stand alone session is led by a social worker, Michelle Quinlan, LCSW, and one of our experienced OTs or SLPs. Sign up for one of the sessions or all 8 offered for your child's age group!

Does your child love building with Lego? Looking for an end of summer outlet to beat the heat and summer doldrums? Want to support your child's skills while they make new friends?

Our Lego® Play Group is designed to spark imagination while fostering social and play skills, executive functional skills including self-regulation and problem solving, build cooperation and teamwork skills, all while having fun!

Run by our experienced pediatric therapists, including Michelle Quinlan, LCSW, this group will provide children with a variety of both structured build activities and free-builds that kids love! Whether your child is an "ace builder" or just learning how to put bricks together, they will make new friends and build new skills when they join us for Lego® fun!

It's Back!
Our popular Play With Me! group for kids from 3-5 years old AND their adult Play Partner.

Join us for one or all four sessions (Fridays July 17 - Aug 7, 2026) for lots of fun in our sensory motor gym! Children and their grown-ups will enjoy child-led free play and structured opportunities for exploring new play and new relationships under the guidance of our experienced therapy staff.

Hey there! This is Deb, OT and founder of STEPS for Kids Pediatric Therapy. I am beyond excited to share that there is a new community starting up just for you. If you are part of our STEPS for Kids family, you know we work with kids to help them succeed, and parent education is a BIG part of that.
