🧹✨ Happy Housekeeping Week! ✨🧹

This week, we are giving some VERY well-deserved recognition to the incredible people who help keep Heritage Woods of Yorkville looking and feeling like home! 💚

Our wonderful housekeeping ladies work tirelessly every single day, and somehow they still manage to do it with smiles on their faces. Their hard work goes far beyond keeping our community clean—they care about our residents, take pride in our home, and are always willing to lend a hand wherever one is needed.

And we certainly can't forget our Director of Maintenance & Housekeeping, who works right alongside them to keep everything running smoothly! 🔧💪

So much of what they do happens quietly behind the scenes, but make no mistake—we see it, we appreciate it, and we truly couldn't do what we do without them.

Please help us give our Housekeeping team some love this week! ❤️👏

💚 A Full House for an Important Conversation! 💚

It was a full house at Heritage Woods of Yorkville as our residents welcomed Chaplain David with Divine Hospice and Palliative Care for a wonderful presentation on stress, grief, and finding purpose.

With the message “Stress Less, LIVE MORE,” Chaplain David encouraged our residents to think about what we can control, what we may need to ask for help with, and what we sometimes simply need to release. ❤️

There were meaningful conversations, thoughtful moments, and even a little laughter along the way—which can be some of the best medicine of all!

A heartfelt thank you to Chaplain David and Divine Hospice and Palliative Care for spending the afternoon with us and providing our residents with encouragement, support, and some valuable reminders about navigating life’s challenges.

We truly appreciate our community partners who continue to bring meaningful programs like this to our residents. 💚

Our residents had such a wonderful time during our recent Donkey Therapy visit at Heritage Woods of Yorkville! 💕

There were plenty of smiles, gentle pets, treats, laughter, and special moments shared with our adorable four-legged visitor. Experiences like this bring so much joy to our community and give our residents a chance to enjoy something a little different, relaxing, and memorable.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this visit possible and brought such a special experience to Heritage Woods. We absolutely loved having you here and hope this won’t be the last time we get a little “hoof therapy!” 🐾💚

Yesterday, Heritage Woods of Yorkville had the opportunity to attend the WorkNet Batavia Career & Resource Fair!

We enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people, sharing information about Heritage Woods, and talking about the rewarding career opportunities available within our community. 🌿

A big thank you to WorkNet Batavia for bringing employers, job seekers, and community resources together. Events like these are such a great reminder of how important community connections are!

And of course, we couldn’t attend a career fair without saying… we’re hiring! 😊 If you or someone you know is looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of older adults, we’d love to hear from you.
