The transition to kindergarten is a BIG step — but children can start building school-ready skills long before their first day! 🎒✏️

Through play, children can practice skills they’ll use in the classroom, like following directions, interacting with peers, strengthening fine motor skills, building coordination, and developing early academic skills.

Easterseals of Northeast Ohio’s FREE Kindergarten Readiness Playgroup gives children ages 2.5–5 a fun, supportive environment to learn, play, and build confidence as they prepare for kindergarten. 💛

Our campers wrapped up Kinship Summer Camp 2026 last week with a special visit from some amazing wildlife! 🦉

They had the opportunity to meet a variety of animal ambassadors, learn interesting facts about each species, and get an up-close look at these incredible creatures.
