Happy Natural Family Planning Awareness Week! Meet Lisa Morvant, a Creighton Model Teacher!

"I am a parishioner of St. Pius X in Lafayette. I have been married to my husband, Chris, since 2012. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2011 and have been practicing as a registered nurse since then. I completed my Creighton Model FertilityCare Practitioner program in 2020 and am certified as a Certified FertilityCare Practitioner by the American Academy of FertilityCare Practitioners since 2021.

I am the responsible practitioner for Little Flower Fertility Care, which is certified by the Fertility Care Centers of America. As a woman and a nurse, I was not aware of the existence of Creighton or NaProTECHNOLOGY until my husband and I became users of the system ourselves many years ago. My passion to become a Creighton Practitioner was born out of walking alongside an amazing woman who had been experiencing infertility for six years."

This is a day of prayer and reflection for women walking the path of infertility at St. Pius X in Lafayette, LA on August 22.
Speakers include a mental health counselor, a speaker sharing her own journey/witness and a nun speaking on the spiritual journey.
There will be time for private reflection as well as group discussions and forming community.
Light breakfast will be provided and lunch and snacks will be provided.
