Your shoulder blade does a lot more than most people realize.

The shoulder blade (scapula) isn’t just a bone that sits on your back—it’s actually part of your shoulder joint. The socket your arm moves in is part of the scapula, making it the foundation for healthy shoulder movement.

Even more interesting? The scapula has only one bony connection to the rest of your skeleton (through your collarbone). Everything else depends on the surrounding muscles to provide stability and guide movement.

Did you know your knees can experience 3–5 times your body weight when walking down stairs?

That sounds like a lot—but here’s the interesting part…

Healthy knees are designed to handle those loads.

The problem isn’t always how much force goes through your knee. More often, it’s how that force is distributed.

Weakness, limited mobility, poor movement mechanics, or even issues at your hip, foot, or ankle can increase stress on the knee and make everyday activities uncomfortable.
