We have absolutely loved having our “Little Cats” (Greater Latrobe Wildcats) in the office this summer! 🧡🖤

These amazing young ladies have been an incredible help while our staff members were away this summer. Watching their confidence, skills, and professionalism grow over the past few months has been so rewarding.

While we’re sad to see most of them head back to school, we know they have bright futures ahead and will do amazing things in high school, college, and beyond.

The good news? You’ll still be seeing Rai around! She’ll be joining us during her senior year through her work-study program, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her continue as part of our Youngwood Eye Care family. 🙌🏻

We are so proud of each of you and grateful for everything you’ve done this summer. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you! 🧡

Youngwood Eye Care is looking for a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team! If you're friendly, dependable, enjoy working with people, and want to make a difference in patients' lives, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do:
• Welcome and prepare patients for their eye exams
• Perform preliminary testing (vision testing, eye pressure, retinal imaging, etc.)
• Assist our doctors during patient care
• Document information in our electronic medical records
• Educate patients on their eye health and treatment plans
• Help with scheduling, front desk duties, and optical when needed

What we're looking for:
✔ Positive attitude and strong communication skills
✔ Detail-oriented and organized
✔ Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
✔ Previous medical or ophthalmic experience is a plus—but we're happy to train the right person!
