We work along the lines of a ministry as well as a business. Each funeral is unique for the individual. Our goal is to assist in designing the funeral to meet the family's wishes. That is the first step in working through the grieving process," said Donna Yanda, owner of Yanda & Son Funeral Home, echoing the words of her late husband Anton Yanda III." Not only has Yanda & Son Funeral Home been involved in the funeral business in the Yukon community, but we are very involved in many community projects. We are very family-oriented, and strongly attached to the Yukon area. Our professionally trained staff is always available to assist families in need. Francis Lee Weedon, 97, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 19, 2026, and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born November 13, 1928, in Englewood, Kansas, Francis was the son of Jesse Lee Weedon and Hazel Augustus Ford Weedon. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Chisholm Heights Baptist Church, Mustang, Oklahoma, with interment following at 2:00 p.m., at Sunnyside Cemetery, Vici, Oklahoma.
