💙 Investing in the Future of Healthcare in Yuma!

Thanks to a $113,800 Graduate Medical Education grant from Arizona Complete Health, Sunset Health is taking an important step toward launching a new Family Medicine Residency Program in July 2027.

This investment will help create more opportunities for physician training, address healthcare workforce shortages, and strengthen access to care for rural and underserved communities.

We’re grateful for the support and collaboration helping make this initiative possible!

Sunset Health is proud to announce that we have been awarded a $113,800 Graduate Medical Education grant from Arizona Complete Health to support the development of Yuma’s first community-based Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Family Medicine Residency Program, planned to launch in July 2027.

This important investment will help address physician workforce shortages, expand rural medical training opportunities, and strengthen access to healthcare in Yuma and other rural and underserved communities.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Arizona Complete Health for its generous support and to Arizona Western College, Onvida Health, and our community leaders for their collaboration in making this initiative possible.
