Life as an Activity Director at The Lodge means one thing is for sure… we stay BUSY having FUN! 🥰🎉

We’ve been making so many memories, sharing so many laughs, and enjoying so many wonderful activities that sometimes the fun happens faster than I can post it! 😅 The pictures may get a little left behind, but the memories certainly don’t. 💕

🍖✨ Lodge Adventures: Lunch Bunch Takes Baton Rouge! ✨🍖

The Lunch Bunch was on the move again, and this time our taste buds led us straight to TJ Ribs in Baton Rouge! 🚗💨

And oh boy… did we pick a delicious destination! 😋 From the smoky, saucy ribs to all those mouthwatering sides, there were happy plates, full bellies, and plenty of smiles around the table. We came hungry and left wondering if stretchy pants should be the official Lunch Bunch uniform! 😂

🥁💪 Workout Wednesday was a HIT! 💪🥁

We turned up the tunes, grabbed our drumsticks, and brought ALL the energy for our monthly Cardio Drumming session! 🎶✨

There were drums booming, arms moving, toes tapping, and smiles shining from ear to ear! 😄 Our residents didn’t just get a great workout—they rocked the room and had a whole lot of fun doing it! 🥁🎉

Our residents had two delicious choices on the menu today!

🍗 A flavorful seasoned chicken plate with creamy scalloped potatoes, broccoli, and a warm dinner roll.

🍓 Or a fresh fruit plate with strawberries, pineapple, cheese, and yogurt for a lighter option.

And we saved a little room for something sweet—peach cake for dessert! 🍑🍰😋

🌺 Aloha from The Lodge! 🌺

Our residents didn’t just come to the luau… they brought the moves! 🌴🎶 From grass skirts and leis to Hawaiian music and lots of laughter, we danced our way straight to the islands! 🍍🌺

🌺 Luau at The Lodge — Part 1! 🌴🍍

We brought a little taste of the islands to The Lodge today! ☀️🌺

We kicked off the morning with tropical smoothies and homemade banana bread, then kept the island vibes going this afternoon with Hawaiian meatballs & sliders, fresh fruit, homemade coconut cake, and virgin piña coladas! 🍹🍰🍍

Good food, tropical vibes, and plenty of smiles made for a perfect Luau day! 🌺🌴

The Lodge at Lane had the pleasure of hosting Coffee Connect this morning! We enjoyed opening our doors to the Zachary community and spending the morning connecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and building relationships.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to connect with the community we’re so proud to be a part of.

🌻 August is in Full Swing at The Lodge🌻

The sun is shining and The Lodge is full of joy this month. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to:

🎶 Live Music with Brett & our Monthly Birthday Party — singing, celebrating, and a little extra dancing
🎨 Creative crafting — where imagination runs free (and glitter shows up everywhere)
🍉 Watermelon & Old Fashioned Float Socials — sweet treats and even sweeter smiles
🎬 Elvis Week featuring Blue Hawaii — bringing a touch of island fun to our theater
🛍️ Outings to Walmart & the Casino — fun adventures big and small, full of laughter
🐾 Pet Therapy visits — wagging tails, soft purrs, and heartwarming moments

✨ And the fun continues! We’re looking forward to even more laughter, friendship, and surprises in the second half of August.
