🌧️🍓🎬 We didn’t let the rainy weather dampen our spirits!

Our residents enjoyed a cozy Monday Movie Matinee, celebrated National Strawberry Shortcake Day with delicious homemade strawberry shortcake, and packed the room for a full house of Bingo this afternoon!

A big THANK YOU to our wonderful volunteer Vanessa for treating everyone to such a sweet afternoon. ❤️🍓

From movies to Bingo and sweet treats, we made the most of this gloomy day and filled it with smiles, laughter, and fun! ☔

⭐️ Yesterday at The Lodge, we honored the amazing fathers in our community with a memorable Father’s Day celebration! ⭐️
Highlights included a fantastic car show organized by Joey Belk, featuring vehicles from the Zachary Cars and Coffee Club and the Baton Rouge Corvette Club, along with uplifting music from DJ Desselle, delicious chili Frito pies, and Father’s Day cookies generously provided by Jordan Jennings of Baton Rouge Hospice and Susan Emory of The Iced Pelican. A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated volunteers and staff, whose hard work made the day so special. ⭐️
With great friends, classic cars, tasty food, and lively entertainment, it was a wonderful celebration from start to finish.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Riders of Christ Kingdom Motorcycle Club from First Baptist Church 🏍️ for taking the time to visit our residents and share their incredible motorcycles with us!

Our residents truly enjoyed seeing the bikes up close 🏍️, hearing about your passion for riding, and spending time visiting with such a wonderful group of people. Your kindness, fellowship, and willingness to brighten our day made a lasting impression on everyone.

Thank you for bringing smiles, creating special memories, and showing the love and compassion that your organization represents. We appreciate your visit and look forward to welcoming you back again in the future! 🏍️❤️

A huge thank you to Mr. Brett Boswick (and our amazing team) for bringing so much energy, music, and fun to our dance party today. Our residents had a wonderful time singing along, dancing, laughing, and making special memories together.

There’s nothing better than seeing so many smiling faces enjoying great music and even better company. Days like today remind us that fun has no age limit!
