🌱 Please join us in welcoming Joselyn "Josie" Unger to the Restorative Pathways team as a Counselor Trainee!

Josie is pursuing her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Substance Use Concentration at John Carroll University. She brings valuable hands-on experience from her work as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist at Allwell Crisis Stabilization Unit, where she provided direct and indirect care for individuals experiencing acute crisis, along with prior experience at Quality Moments and as an intern at Avondale Youth Center.

Josie says she was drawn to RPC's person-centered, collaborative approach and genuine commitment to client care — values that closely mirror her own empathetic, strengths-based style.

Kayla is pursuing her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University and brings a wealth of hands-on experience to our team — from her work with Family Services and Head Start to her current role as a Victim Advocate, where she supports individuals and families through crisis, connects them with resources, and walks alongside them in the courtroom and beyond.

We're hiring a Therapeutic Support Specialist (Case Management) to provide support to individuals and families in our community.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys building relationships, problem-solving, connecting people with resources, and helping clients develop the skills and supports they need to function more successfully in everyday life.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Provide goal-directed support in the office and community
• Help clients build coping, daily living, and independent living skills
• Connect individuals and families with needed resources and services
• Collaborate with therapists, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners
• Participate in services such as OhioRISE/CANS and supervised visitation
• Receive ongoing supervision, consultation, and professional development

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related human services field OR a high school diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Previous behavioral health, social services, or case management experience is preferred.

We’re so excited to welcome Jessica back to RPC!

Jess is an LPCC who was previously part of our team for more than three years before stepping away. After a year, we’re incredibly grateful that she’s returning to Restorative Pathways.

She brings experience, warmth, and a steady presence to the work she does, and having her return to the team after being such an important part of RPC before feels especially meaningful.

Today we’re celebrating Nicole’s birthday and sending her lots of love as she begins an exciting new chapter.

Yesterday was Nicole’s last day with RPC after more than two years as one of our case managers. She has brought so much fun, energy, and personality to our team, and we’re definitely going to miss having her with us every day.

As sad as we are to see her go, we’re also incredibly excited for her. Nicole is stepping into a new role as a school counselor one of our local high school, where we know she’ll continue making a meaningful difference for teens and families in our community.

And thankfully, this isn’t really goodbye. We’re looking forward to continuing to work alongside Nicole in a different capacity as our paths continue to cross in the community.

Today we’re celebrating one year since Kenzie returned to RPC

Kenzie was part of our team for more than three years before stepping away, and after nearly two years away, we were incredibly grateful to welcome her back.

As our Practice Manager, Kenzie brings a steadiness, consistency, and reliability that touches nearly every part of the practice. She keeps so much moving behind the scenes with our administrative team, supports our providers and leadership, and helps make sure the day-to-day pieces of RPC come together.

There are a lot of things that happen quietly in the background to keep a practice running well, and Kenzie is at the center of so many of them.

RPC truly would not be the same without her. We’re so grateful she came back, and so thankful for everything she brings to our team every day.

Words aren't the only way to tell our stories.

Mirabai uses expressive arts to help clients explore emotions, patterns, and life transitions in a way that doesn't depend on words or artistic skill—only curiosity about what might emerge through the creative process.

She works with individuals ages 14 and older, including neurodivergent clients. To learn more, check out her bio in the comments below!

Sometimes self-care looks like slowing down, trying something creative, and spending an hour somewhere other than work or home.

Our October Social will bring everyone together for a guided pumpkin-painting activity centered on relaxation, creativity, and low-pressure connection. ☺️🖌️

You'll be guided through a brief relaxation practice before painting and will have opportunities to connect with others at your own comfort level. You don't need artistic experience, you don't need to arrive with someone else, and you won't be expected to share personal info.
