When we over-identify with emotions, we suffer more. But mindfulness and self-compassion help us relate to our feelings without becoming them— instead, we hold them with care.

Next time a strong emotion comes up, try to pause and say to yourself: “This is a moment of suffering. May I be kind to myself.” Notice the shift.

We provide individual, couples, and family counseling as well as psychiatric medication management and can offer in person appointments in our office in Zeli or virtual sessions. We also participate with most insurances!
