ZNel's General Care Services came about from a genuine love for seniors and older adults. The history they carry, the contributions they have made, and the stories they have to share.
I have always loved hearing their stories and learning about how life was long ago. I believe this fascination and genuine love for seniors were a big part of what birthed ZNel's General Care Services.
We started out just really in our community, as a Christian, visiting older adults, checking on how they were doing, and finding little ways that I could volunteer and provide assistance in my own little way.
As time passed, and as a Clinical Mental Health Counsellor, working with older adults, over time, I began to see a greater need for companionship. Many older adults simply did not have anyone around. They want someone to talk to, someone to spend time with, or simply someone to keep their company. Some older adults are incredibly kind and have so much love to give, and this realisation became another important part of the foundation of ZNel's General Care Services.
Today, we have grown into a family business that provides companionship, home care services, adult sitting, as well as support services such as errand services and cleaning services.
This journey started years ago, and it has brought us to where we are today. At the heart of everything we do is love. We have a genuine love for people and for the work that we do, and I believe this is what sets us apart.
You can provide services to people, but the question is: Is there a real, genuine love for the people you are serving? Do we truly see them as human beings who still have so much to give and so much to contribute?
This is the reason why we do what we do. We genuinely love people, and because of this love, we often go beyond the basic scope of the services that fall under our business. We do so much more, and we are happy to.
