We are excited to share that we had the opportunity to showcase a brief, informative presentation as part of JFL's Conversations on Care Town Hall series. Our presentation outlined the services we offer to the community, such as enabling services, behavioral, dental, and primary non-emergent health care. We discussed the different levels of medical emergencies and when patients should or should not come to the clinic for care and when to contact the emergency department instead. This conversation contains very useful information regarding emergency care in the community.

Ms. Melendez is a valued member of the FHC team at our North Shore location. This week, we recognize her as part of our continued commitment to raising awareness, celebrating strength, and showing support for those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

Throughout October, the nurses and staff at Frederiksted Health Care continue to raise awareness and promote the importance of breast cancer education and early detection within our community.

Every October, we unite to honor the strength and resilience of the beautiful women in our lives who have been affected by breast cancer. 💗 Our Ingeborg-Nesbitt, Mid-Island, and North Shore clinics are proudly decorated in recognition of this important awareness movement. We believe that awareness is the first step toward action. By encouraging education, regular screenings, and early detection, we can help make a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by breast cancer.

We invite our community to join us in spreading awareness, showing support, and honoring the fighters, survivors, and loved ones impacted by breast cancer.

Frederiksted Health Care, Inc. proudly culminated National Health Center Week with an important and impactful Town Hall Meeting focused on Trauma, Violence, and a Public Health Response.

A special thank you to Dr. Selwyn Rogers for sharing his knowledge, expertise, and powerful message with our community during “Trauma, Violence, Public Health: Healing the Gun Violence Epidemic.”

We would also like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out and participated. Your presence, thoughtful questions, and willingness to engage in this important conversation made the evening truly meaningful. Together, we created a space to openly discuss the impact of violence on our community, explore pathways toward healing, and emphasize the importance of prevention, education, collaboration, and collective action.
