oral health concerns and those under the blankets of Special Education with an active Individualised Educational Plan (IEP) have affirmed our belief that they can be settled in the mainstream. Introduction of appropriate resources to these students at elementary and secondary levels is the key to achieve excellence in academic and social fields. We intend to uphold their developments as models to inspire others; just as we channel their abilities to return productive outcome. We hope to see them as mentors and champions among people of similar conditions across the globe. We emphasize the need to identify the individuals and families in need of all levels of behavioral health services and bring them to the respective facility by effective intervention, where needed.

Happening today:

Power, privilege, and systemic oppression shape clinical practice by influencing whose voices are heard, believed, and prioritized within healthcare relationships and institutions. Clinicians must critically reflect on how social identities, institutional policies, and historical inequities affect access to care, diagnostic decisions, and treatment outcomes. Practicing cultural humility, advocacy, and trauma-informed care can help reduce harm and promote equity for marginalized populations.

Sexual Assault is a Violation of Trust, Safety and Personal Autonomy. Healing is Powerful and Transformative.

This 12–14-week survivor support group offers a confidential, trauma-informed space for individuals to process experiences, rebuild a sense of safety, and reconnect with self in a supportive community. Sessions are held weekly via telehealth.
Sexual violence exists on a spectrum and can include experiences such as sexual assault, r**e, sexual harassment, child sexual abuse, coercion, and other forms of unwanted or non-consensual contact. These experiences can impact not only the body, but also emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Survivors may experience a range of responses, including anxiety, fear, shame, anger, disconnection, difficulty trusting others, or feeling disconnected from self. All responses are valid.

This group is led by trauma-informed providers who are also survivors, creating a space that is not only clinically grounded, but deeply understanding, affirming, and empowering. While we honor and gently address the impact of trauma, this space is also centered on healing - supporting participants in reclaiming voice, rebuilding safety, and reconnecting with their sense of self and personal power.
Enrollment will remain open for the first two weeks and will close thereafter to ensure emotional safety and group cohesion. An individual intake assessment is required prior to participation, unless referred by a Beautiful Dreamers clinician.

Grief is LOVE with nowhere to go….Let’s go Together!

Program Description
This 8-10 week grief support group offers a safe, supportive space to process loss, honor your experience, and gently move toward healing in a community. Sessions are held weekly via telehealth.

Grief is not limited to the loss of a loved one. It can also arise from the ending of relationships, shifts in identity, unfulfilled hopes or plans, life transitions, or any experience of deep emotional change. Grief may show up in many ways including emotionally, physically, mentally, and even spiritually.

You may notice waves of sadness, anger, numbness, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, or a sense of disconnection. All of these responses are natural and valid. This group is designed to provide space for reflection, connection, and gentle support as you navigate your unique experience of loss at your own pace, in your own way.

Enrollment will remain open for the first two weeks and will close thereafter to support group trust and continuity. An individual intake assessment is required prior to joining, unless referred by a Beautiful Dreamers clinician.

This is more than a training—it’s an opportunity to learn from leaders who are actively shaping best practices and challenging the cultural status quo in behavioral health.

Summit BHC is proud to bring together these two experienced, forward-thinking clinicians for an upcoming training focused on power, privilege, and systemic oppression in clinical practice. This session is led by Justitia Foundation Board Member Vincentia Constantin, PhD, LPC, LMHC, ACS (GA/FL/USVI), NCC & Gaetane Borders, Ed.S who are not only subject-matter experts, but trusted voices helping move the field toward more equitable, culturally responsive care.

Participants will gain practical, real-world insight into:
• How implicit bias influences clinical decision-making
• The role of privilege, microaggressions, and marginalization in client experiences
• The impact of systemic oppression—including racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, and classism—on mental health outcomes
