🗣️ Don't stay silent. When I was in high school, my classmates would often call me 'Oprah Winfrey' because I had this uncanny ability to listen to people's problems and offer good and honest advice that co
ntinuously prompted positive results. As time went on, I noticed something odd... People who were coming to me for advice were not simply those close to me; they were acquaintances. colleagues, clients, and even people I literally met in a bar or on a beach during one of my travels.

One of the things that sets me apart from others is that I say things how it is: I don't sugarcoat anything or 'beat around the bush'. My words may not always be easy for the other person to hear, but what people need to understand is: 1) the truth hurts, and 2) the truth is what propels change to happen and therefore allowing the healing process/journey to begin.

Talk2Jennifer was launched in early 2020 as a direct result of COVID and the knowledge of just how many mental health issues would likely come about. My goal was - and still is - to provide affordable talk therapy and counseling to students, parents or (individual) adults living in HCMC who really need it.

And since Vietnam is a country where the field of psychology is still not understood or accepted, one of my goals is to educate the local community, reduce the stigma related to mental health and encourage more people to seek out help when they need it.
