Citizens of the Soul: On Meeting the New Generation of Global Nomads
Reflections on the shared hunger for self-discovery, spiritual autonomy, and why sitting across young seekers from around the world feels like a continuation of my own quiet wanderings.
Today, I sat across from a young client from the United States. In the days before, it was someone from France, then the Czech Republic, then Bangladesh...
Different backgrounds, different time zones, different languages. Yet, as the cards unfolded and the charts were mapped, a striking common denominator revealed itself: a new generation of global citizens actively, courageously seeking themselves. They are modern nomads in the truest sense. Not just geographically, but spiritually. They are willing to step outside the prescribed societal molds, jump into the unknown, and build a life grounded in their own spiritual autonomy and inner truth.
Sitting with them, I felt a deep, quiet sense of honor.
To hold space for their journeys, to converse about life, existential fears, love, and destiny—it feels less like "giving a reading" and more like a soulful dialogue between fellow travelers.
It reminded me so vividly of my own times wandering through Northern Europe—sitting in quiet corners, sharing raw, unfiltered conversations with souls I had just met, realizing that beneath all our cultural nuances, the human heartbeat asks the exact same questions:
* Who am I when I strip away the world's expectations?
* How do I live life as an art form rather than a rigid program?
As an astrologer and Tarot reader, there is a profound, exhilarating joy in witnessing this. In an era dominated by algorithms, speed, and noise, to see young people around the globe choose depth, self-awareness, and authentic connection is nothing short of inspiring.
To all the wanderers, seekers, and nomads passing through my space: thank you. You make this journey extraordinarily rich, reminding me every day that no matter where we are on the map, we are all walking each other home.
