Being a Ghost Producer or not? It’s the EXISTENTIAL question!

Yes I have met many people like whom mentioned in this interview. They ran a producing business for decades without their own brand, in the end the business gave them nothing, the only thing left was their real estates. But now is 2026, the chance of earning from real estates is so much slimmer, and whether that’s the path that we want to go is the bigger existential question.

It’s not one or two times we were asked to be a ghost producer, some comes with exclusivity terms that hurt me deeply. Signing in that agreement would mean immediate cash flow, but blocking our own brand to grow and have a future we hoped it to have when we started all this. Saying no to those offers is even more heart-breaking, seeing the stress of my husband who is handling finance, assuring him we’ll find a way knowing now it’s more of a hope than a promise.

Before meeting my husband and deciding to join him in this coffee journey, I was a city, corporate lady that had an easy, fair, idealistic up-bringing. But yes in this coffee producing world, reality hits me hard, no more corporate halo to give me that power to be heard and get deals signed easily. I am now technically just a tiny figure, trying to be heard and seen, trying to knock every door for a smallest opportunity. And yet my trust in fairness and transparency still seem to be a luxury in this industry.

With hard work, I wish to build a sustainable and trustable production.
With vision and faith, I wish to build a legacy that my children can be proud of.

This is going to be a very important year!

This year Arabica price reached highest in history and might go up even more due to insufficient rain in Brazil. High price makes farmers less willing to select ripe beans. Luckily for commercial washed process that we are working on, the machine can automatically channel red and green separately.

Quang Tri arabica is still one of the cheapest on earth, but quality is truly decent. For commercial drinks for coffee shops, bakeries, coldbrew, our coffee is 100% enough. Plus the new dry mill that we just built can produce highly uniform and reliable beans, ready for any orders.

Năm  nay giá cà phê cao kỷ lục và còn có thể tăng nữa do hạn hán tại Brazil. Giá cao nên nông dân hái cà lẫn lộn xanh chín. Cũng may với quy trình chế biến ướt thương mại, dàn máy có khả năng phân loại riêng quả xanh với đỏ.
