SoftWave Vanuatu

SoftWave Vanuatu The beginning of non-invasive extracorporeal shockwave therapy was in 1983 with the first commercially available lithotripter, Dornier’s HM3. In the U.S.

SoftWave is a non-invasive, effective, versatile, and repeatable treatment using high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate healing by increasing blood flow, reducing pain and inflammation, and create tissue repair without drugs or surgery. The first medical application was in 1980 at Grosshardern University Hospital in Munich, when kidney stones were successfully disintegrated - a process called lit

hotripsy. Following this, throughout the 1980s and 1990s, research outside of lithotripsy led to the application of therapeutic effects of shockwaves on human health with non-healing bone fractures - called pseudarthroses - creating a new field of shockwave medicine. Numerous orthopedic indications followed, as well as other applications in tissue regeneration, such as wound healing and rehabilitation of urogenital diseases. Ultimately, the “mechanical model” of urological lithotripsy has been substituted by a “biological model”, also supported by current knowledge in “mechanobiology”. SoftWave is manufactured in Constance, Germany at MTS Medical, a leading manufacturer of electrohydraulic extracorporeal shockwave technology (ESWT), where electrohydraulic shockwave therapy was invented. In Europe, these patented and proprietary advanced therapy machines are known as Spark Wave. they are distributed as SoftWave TRT.
