The South Dakota Together 4U program will be ending soon, however, Dakota Counseling, 605 Strong, and the Farm and Rural Stress Hotline will continue to be available to provide supports to you and your family. We understand that there are numerous stressors impacting individuals within our community and would like to assure that resources are available to anyone in need! The 605 Strong Program offers assistance to anyone impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the impacts associated with the coronavirus, we understand that farmers and their families have also continued to experience a vast array of stressors which may lead to feelings of being overwhelmed, stressed, or concerned for what is still to come. Anyone experiencing these feelings is also encouraged to reach out to the Farm and Rural Stress Hotline at the number provided below. These services are free of charge and confidential. Finally, individuals experiencing any mental heath needs are encouraged to contact Dakota Counseling Institute during business hours. Dakota Counseling is available to provide therapeutic and counseling services to anyone in need and will work with individuals with financial concerns that would otherwise prevent them from seeking services. To contact Dakota Counseling, learn more about these services, or schedule an appointment, please call the office at (605)996-9686.
