In evolutionary terms, fear of judgment makes sense as relating to the need to survive in society.
For our ancestors, being evaluated favorably, rather than judged for any shortcomings, would have
meant a higher chance of survival. With continuous development and change in time, yet today
wrong judgment can give us a huge amount of suffering. It is true that even today wrong judgment, can mean losses in terms of income and incentives but at the same time, it is important to know and recognize the extent to it.
Recognizing the fear of judgment, and having control over it, can lead to enhanced ability in ourselves and a better life.
