And that sets the standard for marriage.

Not a love that is controlling or distant.

But a love that is present, patient, and willing to lay itself down.

That kind of love creates safety.

It nurtures growth. It reflects Christ, not just in words, but in action.

A husband’s love is meant to create a covering, not control or silence.

You should provide a safe place where your wife can grow, feel safe, and be strengthened.

A love modeled by Christ.

That is the standard.

Why does the enemy attack identity first?
