Wesley is the most amazing young man!

Though he is still working on being able to speak, he has given me an incredible gift: a window into the world of autism from his own perspective. His insight—and the practical advice he’s shared with me, straight from his experience of what’s happening in his brain and body—has been invaluable in helping other young people like him.

I deeply admire Wesley for the constant hemispheric battle he’s fighting on the road to speech. His faith, strength, and generosity in sharing his journey inspire and bless so many.

Keep going, Wesley. You’re making a difference more than you know!

We brought our 9 year old son to work with Mindy a year ago. He is diagnosed with Autism, and he has been receiving standard interventions such as speech therapy, OT, and ABA for many years with little change or progress. After hearing about the Melillo method, we looked in to brain balance but were discouraged due to the price tag. We found Mindy by chance and and were thrilled with her comparable services at a fraction of the cost of brain balance.

Since our son has started, we can honestly say that Mindy’s work has resulted in the most growth and gains in our son. His speech improved, as well as balance, eye contact, awareness, and impulse control to name a few. He is making strides in being more conversational, and his coordination has improved to where he can catch and throw a ball, and even ride a scooter! His sensory sensitivities have also decreased!

We also have a younger son who is neurotypical but struggles in some areas of focus, socialization, and eye contact. He had some challenges in school that were pointed out by his teachers. Since he has been working with Mindy, a lot of these challenges in school have improved to the point where they are virtually non existent. His eye contact, focus, handwriting and socialization has also improved dramatically.

Throughout the years of being on this journey with our ASD son, we have come to realize that an intervention is only as good as the therapist. We can confidently say that Mindy and her team truly care about all of the clients they work with. Besides the amazing methodology and techniques, Mindy is a huge difference maker in our lives. We can’t recommend her enough!

When this sweet boy first started with us, it took two people, a pillow, and a whole lot of patience to do the starfish. Now, look at him—he does it all on his own! So proud of his hard work and the progress he's made!

"My teenage daughter worked with Mindy, Macy, and Alle at Brain Connect for several months in 2024. Mindy was very thorough in assessing emotional, intellectual, and physical concerns and in establishing a plan to grow my daughter’s function in each area. I was very pleased to find the Brain Connect methods to be backed by science and research, staying far away from mystical or new age methods that did not line up with my Christian faith. (I mention this fact because I have been in other situations where the methods have gone against my convictions.)
My daughter achieved excellent results from her Brain Connect sessions. She conquered much of her long-standing anxiety, built core muscle strength that greatly improved her posture and alleviated some of her spine curvature, and she gained a greater degree of confidence that has enabled her to more easily converse with others. I have been asked by acquaintances what she has done to undergo such a change and I have shared our experience with Brain Connect.
The session fees were very fair and Mindy always went above and beyond to ensure that our time was worth the price as well as the 50-minute drive we took to get there. We were met with kindness and care every time we attended and we often felt more like family than clients.
While I won’t say that Brain Connect was an overnight miracle cure for my daughter, it was well-worth the time, effort, and cost to work through the program and I would definitely recommend exploring the program’s possibilities for any child who struggles with executive function, emotional difficulties, or delays".
