From the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens | ΕΜΣΤ to Kyoto, Japan! ✈️🇯🇵🎨

Cultural Prescribing in Greece is going global! We are incredibly excited to represent the ΕΜΣΤ| National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens at the International Social Prescribing Conference (ISPC 2026) at Kyoto University.

Together with Ioannides (MA, ECP.h) (Education Curator & Art Psychotherapist at ΕΜΣΤ), we are showcasing our contribution to the national pilot program "Cultural Prescribing as a Supplementary Treatment in Mental Health".

This breakthrough initiative was co-organized by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Health, and was funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "GREECE 2.0". Through our museum-based art psychotherapy sessions, we are proud to highlight how contemporary art can serve as a powerful vehicle for healing and empowerment.

Greece is leading the way in integrating culture into healthcare, and the ΕΜΣΤ| National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens is at the forefront of this journey! 🌟

Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά μοιράζομαι το ντοκιμαντέρ που δημιουργήθηκε στο πλαίσιο της Πολιτιστικής Συνταγογράφησης — μιας πρωτοβουλίας που αναδεικνύει τον ρόλο της τέχνης ως εργαλείου υποστήριξης της ψυχικής υγείας και ευεξίας.

Στο ντοκιμαντέρ συμμετέχω μαζί με την Elisabeth Ioannides, εκπροσωπώντας το Εθνικό Μουσείο Σύγχρονης Τέχνης (ΕΜΣΤ), συμβάλλοντας στον διάλογο για τη διασύνδεση πολιτισμού και φροντίδας.

Η ενίσχυση τέτοιων συνεργειών μεταξύ πολιτιστικών φορέων και τομέων υγείας αποτελεί ένα σημαντικό βήμα προς πιο ολιστικές προσεγγίσεις ευημερίας.

Έναρξη Ομάδας Εφήβων

Για σκέψου να μην πρόφταινα
κι αυτό το καλοκαίρι
να δω το φως ξανά εκτυφλωτικό
να νιώσω την αφή του ήλιου στο κορμί μου
να οσμιστώ δροσερές και χαλασμένες μυρωδιές
να γευτώ γλυκόξινες και πιπεράτες γεύσεις
ν’ ακούω τα τζιτζίκια ως τα κατάβαθα της νύχτας
να καταλαβαίνω τους δικούς μου που αγαπώ
να μην αδημονώ μ’ αυτούς που με στηρίζουν
να σκέφτομαι κι εκείνους που θέλησα να ξεχάσω
να βρίσκω φίλους που έρχονται από μακριά
ν’ αφήνω κι άλλες ζωές να μπαίνουν στη δική μου
να κολυμπάω σε θάλασσες ζεστές
ν’ αντικρίζω φρέσκα σώματα γυμνά
ν’ αναπολήσω έρωτες, να ονειρευτώ καινούργιους
ν’ αντιληφθώ τα πράγματα που αλλάζουν.
Έτσι καθώς τα πρόφτασα αυτό το καλοκαίρι
λέω να ελπίζω για προσεχή Χριστούγεννα
για κάποια επόμενη Πρωτοχρονιά –
άσε να δούμε και για παραπέρα.
