HEAT’s adolescent-focused model puts the young person in the center of their care and involves the client in all decisions about their treatment. HEAT’s mission is to provide a unique health and mental health program that focuses on the special needs of young people who are at risk or living with HIV/AIDS and to remove the barriers that often prevent youth from accessing health care.
