An amber heat-health alert is in place across parts of England from today until 14 August.

During an amber alert, hot weather can put more people’s health at risk – not just those who are usually more vulnerable.

Older people, young children and people with existing health conditions may be particularly at risk.

Take extra care and look out for others who may struggle in the heat.

Today our team joined the Wwl Health Outreach and Inclusion Service and the Queen's Nursing Institute to launch the Queen's Institute of Nursing (QICN) Faculty for Homeless & Inclusion Health.

At Wigan Central Primary Care Network, we are excited to be working collaboratively with partners who are passionate about improving health outcomes for people experiencing homelessness and other forms of social exclusion.

The Faculty will provide a home for leadership, education, national standards, and the continued development of Inclusion Health practice.
