WHY SHALA?


  • Shala in Sanskrit means home. In yoga, shala is a yoga studio so in other words - house of yoga. It is a material place where the physical practice of asanas is taught, but it also provides a nurturing and supportive energy space for yogis to gather, share experiences and grow, collectively or individually, in their practice. Shala is a building, but what is more significant, it reflects a shelter or a place in which you feel like being at home.

  • For us ’being at home’ is creating, putting soul and love into craftwork. Then we fell like our heart, mind and hands are fulfilling their destiny, they are at home. And every place in which we can share creativity with people is our shala.
