Strong partnerships help care reach further.

For National Health Center Week’s Partner Appreciation Day, we’re recognizing Compass Health Network and its commitment to expanding access across the communities it serves.

Compass uses GALE eClinics to help care teams connect across locations and continue providing comprehensive care when a clinician cannot be physically present.

Troy Lambert, Vice President of Primary Care Operations at Compass, described the technology as a “true force multiplier.”

That is partnership in practice: local expertise, trusted care teams, and practical infrastructure working together to extend clinical reach.

This week, we celebrate Compass and the many organizations strengthening community healthcare every day.

Back-to-school planning is also healthcare access planning.

In Wasatch County, students could miss an entire day of school for health needs that might take only 15 to 30 minutes to address. School-based telehealth helped change that equation.

The pilot began in four schools and expanded district-wide within six months. In its first year, Wasatch County School District estimates that it saved approximately 2,500 days of education.

But the lesson isn’t simply to put telehealth equipment in schools. The program had to fit existing school routines, connect students with trusted healthcare partners and earn the confidence of staff, families and students.

As districts prepare for a new school year, we’re revisiting the lessons shared by Aubreigh Parks, district nurse administrator at Wasatch County School District, and 19Labs CEO Ram Fish in School Business Now.

Rural healthcare transformation takes more than new technology.

It takes training, local partnership, and continued support for the people using that technology in real care settings.

In Guyana, 19Labs’ support for the Telemedicine Program continues beyond deployment. Select team meetings are now being approved for continuing education credit, helping make training part of the program model itself.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Health - Guyana and the Nurses and Midwives Council Guyana, this is another step toward telemedicine that is supported, practical, and sustainable.

For 19Labs, the goal is never technology in isolation. It is helping build the partnerships and workforce support that make better access possible.

A video connection can open the door to care. But it is not the full clinical model.

GALE combines point-of-care diagnostics, trained local health workers, remote clinical guidance, and a clear path to the next step in care.

With portable ultrasound integrated into the encounter, local teams can capture diagnostic information while remote clinicians help guide the exam and support decisions around monitoring, referral, or specialist input.

That is how telemedicine extends more clinical capability into the community.

For many years, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside Guyana’s government, healthcare teams, and community members. Through that work, the country and its people have come to mean a great deal to all of us at 19Labs.

We join our friends and partners across Guyana in mourning this devastating loss and holding the affected families and communities in our thoughts.

Equatorial Guinea’s geography creates very real healthcare access challenges—from rural mainland communities to islands such as Corisco and Annobón.

19Labs recently presented a proposed pilot to the Ministry of Health and Health Infrastructure built around those realities: nine GALE virtual clinics, remote diagnostic capabilities, resilient connectivity and power, and drone support for urgent medical deliveries.

We appreciate the Ministry’s thoughtful engagement and look forward to the next steps in shaping a model that can grow with the country through 2030. 🇬🇶

She heard the drone overhead and came outside to see it for herself.

At 93, Moraikobai’s oldest resident was seeing the GALE | Force medical delivery drone for the first time.

A lovely moment captured by Moraikobai Daily.

19Labs joined TVN Chile’s Frontera Global for a broader report on medical drone delivery and rural healthcare access.

19Labs contributed perspective to the report, sharing how drone delivery supports rural health systems when connected to the broader care model — from telemedicine and field workflows to local health infrastructure and last-mile access.

For remote communities, the opportunity is not just faster delivery. It is building more reliable ways to connect people, providers, supplies, and care when distance is one of the biggest barriers.
