🌟 AAOMPT Member Spotlight: Eric Trauber, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT 🌟
AAOMPT Member for 9 Years

For Eric Trauber, becoming an AAOMPT member was about more than learning manual therapy techniques—it was about understanding the “why” behind clinical decision-making.

“I wanted to understand the ‘why’ behind every clinical decision and find the framework that worked best for me.”

During fellowship training, Eric found mentors who embodied this approach and were deeply involved in AAOMPT. Their passion for lifelong learning, mentorship, and advancing the profession made joining AAOMPT an easy decision.

What keeps Eric coming back each year?

“The people and the commitment to excellence.”

Eric practices as an Advanced Senior Physical Therapist at Burke Rehabilitation in White Plains, New York, where he is committed to helping patients achieve their highest level of functional recovery.

AAOMPT membership supports that mission by helping Eric deliver evidence-informed care, mentor students and colleagues, and bring new ideas and perspectives back to his rehabilitation team.

“Through my fellowship journey, I experienced firsthand the value of mentorship, community, and lifelong learning, and I hope to share those same meaningful experiences with the next generation of clinicians.”

Eric is currently pursuing his Doctor of Science (DSc) degree at Bellin College. Passionate about both teaching and patient care, he is focused on mentoring clinicians and students, presenting at conferences, and developing educational initiatives that help bridge the gap between research and clinical practice.

His goal is clear: continue contributing to the profession by improving both patient care and physical therapist education.

👏 Join us in celebrating Eric’s commitment to clinical excellence, mentorship, education, and lifelong learning!
