We At Boston Psychiatric Care condemn and want to express our outrage at the targeted act of hate that affected our community yesterday July 23rd. Yesterday in Jamaica Plain, MA a drag queen story time attended by parents and their young children was interrupted by masked neo-nazis accusing and threatening them. As a business that was founded over 11 years ago in J.P. and remains dedicated member of the Boston Community, we are more than disappointed that we must share our space with such depraved individuals. They should be held responsible for this heinous act and we call on each of you to express your need for justice in this matter. Hate has no home here . Additionally, as a business, we want to express our ongoing commitment to the support of mental health services for the LGBTQIA+ community and our support of their rights to a happy existence with the same equal rights we are all entitled to.
