Incyte Diagnostics provides premiere anatomic and clinical laboratory services to the Northwest.

Incyte Diagnostics is a private company founded in 1957 by pathologists to provide anatomic pathology services throughout the Pacific Northwest. We have conveniently located facilities throughout Washington in Spokane, Tukwila, and Richland. Our team of expert pathologists believes in a collaborative approach to patient care centered on outstanding quality diagnostics and service to the northwest medical community. As a leader in the anatomic pathology field, it is important at Incyte Diagnostics to combine expert interpretation with the latest technology to deliver the best results for clinicians and their patients. The most current technology and testing available has been implemented to enhance result accuracy, create efficiencies and detect diseases earlier. Incyte Diagnostics currently employs over 40 pathologists covering multiple specialty fields including Dermatopathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, Gynecologic Pathology, Hematopathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Renal Pathology, and Urologic Pathology. Our dedicated pathologists come from the nation's leading medical institutions with board certification and advanced subspecialty training. In addition to services provided to physicians' offices, Incyte Diagnostics contracts with hospitals throughout the Pacific Northwest to provide laboratory medical directorship and consultative services. Incyte Diagnostics improves patient outcomes and physician satisfaction and retention through innovation. Partnering with hospital administration, Incyte Medical Directors share new approaches to continuous quality improvement, cost effective diagnostic testing and improved outcomes for hospital staff and patients.

Our Pathologist Support Manager, Cheyanne, and COO, Cory, attended the North Central High School Exposition and Career Fair to help students explore careers in science and healthcare.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the many career paths within the laboratory, from phlebotomy to pathology, and hear firsthand what day-to-day work in these roles looks like, the education required, and the impact these careers have on patient care.

One of the highlights was giving students a chance to look through a microscope and view laboratory samples up close. Experiences like these can make a lasting impact by helping students connect classroom learning to real-world careers.

We appreciated the opportunity to support local students and share more about the exciting possibilities within laboratory medicine.

Today we celebrate National Cytotechnology Day and recognize the important work cytotechnologists do every day to support patient care and early detection.

Did you know? National Cytotechnology Day is observed on May 13 in honor of Dr. George Papanicolaou, the physician and scientist behind the Pap test, which has helped save countless lives through cervical cancer screening.
