We’re bringing back our Bandmates camp for a summer edition!

This special summer session is for musicians ages 10–17 who are ready to level up their band skills in a fun and supportive masterclass-style setting. Join us June 8–12 from 10:00 AM–3:30 PM for a week of groove, growth, and great music.

Campers will:

Tighten their ensemble skills and learn to play “in the pocket”

Practice real-world band communication and collaboration

Get individual support on their instrument

Break into small bands to rehearse, arrange, and refine song

Connect, learn, and grow with other young musicians

We’ve run Bandmates before—and now we’re excited to offer this summer version! The week wraps up with a short Friday performance where each band performs what they've worked on throughout the week.

Business is something I have true excitement for. I love coming in and helping owners balance their many roles, find ways to optimize, and create more of what we want to see in the world. Learn from my mistakes so you can make new, better mistakes!

I'll review any documentation provided prior to our hour-long session together, and we can tailor our discussions based on what you need. The session can be as direct or supportive as needed, and may incorporate:

* Assessment of business strengths and weaknesses

* Support in acknowledging your own strengths and pitfalls as a leader (often, our strengths/pitfalls are two sides of the same coin!)

* Allowing for emotional mindset shifts through strategic tools

* Building a solid community and facilitating an internal abundance mindset

* Talk of all business practicalities and logistics

We’re a team of 10 and still growing—and we can’t wait to welcome a new board-certified, master’s-level music therapist to our team at Resonate Music Therapy! We're offering either a part-time or full-time position, with options to start immediately through September. Our neuroaffirming approach offers the support, flexibility, and creativity you’ve been looking for.

Here’s what we offer:�
✨ $30–32/hour (same pay for direct + indirect work!)
✨ Guaranteed hours + flexible scheduling�
✨ $250 monthly health insurance reimbursement for FT, $100 monthly insurance bonus for PT
✨ 401(k) with 3% employer match�
✨ 50 hours PTO yearly + options for unpaid time off
✨ Yearly continuing ed stipend (FT) + a collaborative team culture + supervision whenever needed- our clinical director Reid is invested in your growth both as a clinician and human.

You’ll work with a wide range of ages- we work predominantly with autistic/neurodivergent individuals, as well as people with chromosomal differences, individuals with mental health support needs, and people with physical/intellectual disabilities. Co-treat with our phenomenal speech therapy team, as well as occupational therapy coming soon!

Sessions happen in our beautiful, well-stocked clinic space at 2906 Beacon Street. We have an extensive instrument/supply closet, snacks on hand for clinicians, and comfortable spaces to focus, connect with co-workers, and to work effectively with your clients.

Our lobby books are always a great way for us to highlight different ideas and topics throughout the year! They're doing double duty this month—celebrating Speech-Language-Hearing Month and Mental Health Awareness Month with stories that highlight communication, coping skills, and emotional wellness.

Swipe through our shelves to spot books about self-advocacy, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, AAC, all kinds of ways of communicating, and talking about big feelings in kid-friendly ways.

At Resonate, we love using literacy to spark conversation, allow clients to see themselves in media, and have concrete resources for processing, learning, and growing.

An update on our faithful mascot, Pencil the therapy dog! You may have noticed her surgery scar on the back of her head- the good news is that she had a very low-grade cancerous tumor removed, and they feel confident they got it all. Penny is now around 10 years old (rescue dog, so we don't know for sure), and though she loves working way too much to ever officially retire, has officially entered her 'dignified old lady' era. You'll continue seeing her around the clinic for many fluffy snuggles to come!

Autism Acceptance Month goes beyond awareness- it represents a positive societal shift towards growing inclusivity for autistic individuals. It is a time to lift up the experiences and voices of Autistic individuals within our community! This happens in big and small ways daily at Resonate- this month, we've filled our lobby library with selected books reflecting a wide range of autistic experiences.

However, here at Resonate, we believe acceptance and support aren't limited to April. Here are some of the ways Resonate supports, validates, and 'sees' autistic ways of being year-round.

- We accept and embrace neurodivergent ways of thinking – therapists at Resonate champion our clients’ interests throughout sessions. We believe people are most regulated and do their best when they feel heard and understood!

- We provide unrestricted access to sensory support – before each session, our therapists set up the room to promote sensory regulation. Neurodivergent brains seek out opportunities to move, look around, feel textures, and vocalize. We take a proactive and responsive approach to sensory regulation, providing an array of supports so clients can autonomously access what they need in that moment!

- We promote authenticity and independence in our clients, providing a safe environment for our clients to “unmask” and be their authentic selves is crucial to what we do at Resonate. We love helping our clients communicate in whatever way is most comfortable to them and following their lead throughout the session.
