CDARS

CDARS CDARS aims to improve the lives of individuals experiencing mental health issues, substance misuse and neurodiversity.

Our holistic approach helps our clients improve their mental, physical, social and emotional wellbeing. We are a community drug and alcohol recovery service. We are committed to improving the lives of vulnerable people and those with complex needs arising from the ill-effects of addiction to alcohol, drugs and other psychosocial conditions.

Finding our rhythm and our peace. 🎶 In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re reminding you to lean into the things that make your soul sing. For us, it’s all about the harmony of the Sunshine Singers.

Your wellbeing is the foundation everything else is built on. 🧱✨

We love this reminder from . We spend so much time respecting our schedules, our work, and our phones—but when was the last time you truly respected your own limits?

At CDARS, we empower our community to put their health and wellbeing first. Honouring yourself isn't just about resting; it’s about finding joy, expressing yourself, and connecting with others.

Swipe right ➡️ to see how our community has been honouring their journey through arts, crafts, and creativity this week. >
From a blank canvas to a finished piece, every moment spent here is a step toward feeling uplifted and independent. 🌿🎨

Great minds think alike... and apparently, they dress alike too! 👯‍♀️✨

We didn't get the memo, but we definitely got the look. Just the CDARS team accidentally (or maybe subconsciously?) matching today.

Proof that we really are on the same wavelength!

Our latest dive into Jekyll and Hyde reframed the "monster" as repressed trauma and the exhaustion of hiding our true selves. We discussed how Jekyll’s isolation mirrors the struggle of masking—and how much more healing it is to step out of the shadows together.

Next week we’re celebrating the beauty of neurodiversity — the idea that every brain works differently, and those differences make our world more creative, innovative, and compassionate.

From Monday to Thursday, we’re hosting a series of daily workshops designed to learn, share, and support one another. Each day is a chance to better understand neurodivergent experiences and celebrate the unique strengths that come with thinking differently.
Because neurodiversity isn’t something to “fix” — it’s something to embrace, understand, and celebrate. 🧠✨
Together, let’s create spaces where every mind is valued and every voice belongs. 💙
