Better Futures was established in 2015. The founding Directors, Paul Drake, Shaun Merifield, Jeni Wilkes & Kelly Bainbridge, had previously worked together on software programme development involving pupil tracking and assistive technology for people with disabilities. Following evaluation of the market place and understanding what each person could bring to the business, the founders identified a gap in the market place when it came to the tracking and monitoring programmes that existed for children, young people and adults with complex needs both in an educational and social care setting. The founders felt passionately that they could develop a variety of programmes that would help to enhance the lives of the those who required specialist interventions, given their varied backgrounds and professions.
Specialists from a variety of backgrounds make up Better Futures passionate and innovative team. All our Directors bring a unique skill set to the business, which is focused on development of assistive technology for vulnerable people within our society. Better Futures recognises the vital part technology plays in our communication, development and futures, this should be no different for those with disabilities, or those who offers support and assistance.
