🐻 Today is National Teddy Bear Day, and thanks to a special partnership between The NASCAR Foundation and Avera Children's Hospital, young patients will receive a little extra comfort and a lot of extra smiles.

Created by NASCAR Foundation founder Betty Jane France, Speedy Bear was designed to bring companionship and encouragement to children during their hospital stay. Along with their cuddly new friend, patients will also receive activity kits filled with fun items including a coloring book, crayons, playing cards, a Jenga game, and an inspirational card.

We are grateful to The NASCAR Foundation and its industry partners for helping brighten the day of children and families at Avera Children's. Sometimes the smallest gestures, like a teddy bear and a kind message, can make a big difference. 🐻
