13 seconds into Warrior One. Arms overhead. Front leg loaded. This is where Sun B stops being a stretch and starts being cardio. The reach isn’t decoration, it’s resistance. Your heart is pumping against gravity right now.
Save this for your next practice. Feel where the work actually is.

Have you ever googled you?

I did. Every chapter is still out there. OneHotSpot in Lund. A second studio in Skåne. A magazine cover from 2012. COVID, closing, retraining as a Massage Therapist just to make ends meet. Ronneby, and the studio I’m closing now.

Same person, every room. This time, no room at all, and that’s the point.

If you’ve been with me through any version of this, thank you. If you’re only finding me now, welcome. You’re catching me mid rebuild, again, but this time on my own terms.

Need a boost? Try this 3-step energy reset.

1. Clear your energy — swipe, chop or shake your hands.
2. Move your body — jump, shake, bounce, dance.
3. Ground yourself — come back to your breath.

Nothing complicated. Just change your state.

Save this for the next time you need a little energy boost.

Clothes and style can be spiritual.

First impressions count. But more importantly, something changes when you show up wearing clothes that actually feel like you.

Not what you think you should wear.
Not what everyone else is wearing.
Not what makes you look like the version of yourself you think people expect.

But something that feels like you.

Because how we dress is also how we take up space.

And when you feel good in what you’re wearing, you show up differently.

Maybe that’s spiritual too.

Can you do yoga in a sarong?

Absolutely.

We’re heading into Week 1 of Sun Salutation as Medicine, and this is one of the shoulder drills we’ll be practising.

Healthy shoulders don’t come from stretching alone. They need movement in different directions to improve mobility, strength and stability.

Give this drill a try and let me know how your shoulders feel afterwards.

Sarong or not.

A little something about me 🤎

Most people know me through yoga, meditation, Ayurveda or Reiki.

But behind this account is simply… me.

A woman who has always loved beautiful spaces. Not expensive spaces, just spaces with soul.

I remember it like it was yesterday.

Bukit Tunku. Kenny Hills.

I was eight years old.

My uncle lived in an LLN company mansion on a hill in Bukit Tunku. With his French first wife, and later his Australian wife, the home had a distinctly Anglo-European feel that completely captivated me as a child. We spent every school holiday there. In my memory, it feels like my own little version of Upstairs, Downstairs—a grand house, polished wood, a housekeeper, a driver, and a quiet elegance that stayed with me long after I left.

Looking back, I realise those holidays were my first introduction to modernist architecture, thoughtful interiors, and the feeling of a home designed with intention.

I remember the smell before I remember the rooms. The polished wood. The cool floors beneath bare feet. The carved furniture. The woven textures. The quiet. Even the morning light felt different.

To a little girl with dark skin and a northern accent that people in the city loved to mimic, it felt like another world.

Life took me across countries and continents. I started over more than once, and for a long time I never imagined there would be a home with my name on it. So I learned to carry home in my heart.

A few weeks ago, I looked around my own home and something clicked.

The old wood. The vintage pieces. The natural fibres. The plants. The calm.

Without ever trying, I’d recreated the feeling of that home in Kenny Hills.

The realization filled me with nostalgia and a quiet melancholy. Not because I wanted to go back, but because I finally understood that I’d been searching for a feeling, not a place.

Maybe that’s why I love architecture and interiors just as much as I love yoga and meditation. They’re all about creating spaces that invite us to slow down, breathe, and simply be.

For years, I carried home in my heart.

Now, I’m slowly putting my heart into my home.

That feels like coming full circle.

EP. 2 • Quick & Painless

Got grapefruit sitting in your fruit bowl?

One of my favourite combinations is grapefruit, extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of sea salt. Add a little fresh ginger if you like.

Sea salt? It softens the bitterness.

Olive oil? It keeps you full.

Grapefruit? She’s just present. 😌

In Ayurveda, it’s often the rasa (taste) of a meal that matters just as much as the ingredients themselves. This simple combination brings together bitter, sour, salty and pungent flavours while gently supporting digestion.

Have you ever tried it?

Note: Grapefruit can interact with certain medications, including some cholesterol, blood pressure and other prescription medicines. If you take regular medication, check with your pharmacist or healthcare provider before adding grapefruit to your diet.
