Today, on International Day of the Midwife, I honor the countless Midwives who have impacted my life, my journey, my spirit, and my work.

To the Midwives still practicing…
To those now retired…
To those who have transitioned into the celestial ancestral realm…
We speak your names through our work, our remembrance, and our continued commitment to birth justice, sacred labor, and community healing.

Today we especially honor our Warrior Midwife Graduates — Cohort #3 of A Wombman’s Way Warrior Midwife Training. What took place was not simply a graduation, but a celebration of becoming. A celebration of remembering, restoring, reclaiming, and activating the sacred power of birthwork.

We also honor and uplift all AWWWMT graduates from Cohorts One and Two who continue carrying this movement forward into homes, communities, and sacred birth spaces everywhere.

Warrior Midwives carry more than skills — they carry memory, legacy, truth, resistance, healing, and love.

May we continue to reclaim our rightful place in this birth space and transform the future for generations to come.
