Why do other people's mistakes make some of us so angry?

It may not simply be because they "won't listen."

Sometimes, somewhere much earlier in life, helping another person created calm.

Perhaps Mum stopped crying.
Perhaps an argument ended.
Perhaps the room suddenly felt safer.

And the subconscious learned:

If I help, everything calms down.
The child grows up.

But the job remains.

You keep watching the room.
You notice who's struggling.
You offer advice.

You try to prevent the mistake.

And when they don't listen... you become frustrated.
Not necessarily because you're controlling.

But because their choices still feel strangely like your responsibility.

Caring is not the same as carrying.

Some people become exhausted because they believe noticing someone's struggles means they have to solve them.

But understanding someone isn't the same as carrying their life.

This short explores the difference.

Has this ever happened to you?

The strongest-looking person in the room isn't always the one healing.

Sometimes they're simply the one who's become best at performing.

This week's Therapy Comic explores why staying busy after loss can become a survival strategy—and why real healing begins when we finally allow ourselves to stop.

Have you ever recognised this in yourself or someone you care about?

12/07/2026

Many people believe they're struggling because they haven't moved on.

Sometimes the opposite is true.

Sometimes joy itself begins to feel unsafe.

This week's Therapy Comic Panel explores why.

If someone comes to mind while watching, share it with them.

Grief rarely disappears.

It usually waits patiently until life becomes quiet.

Many people don't avoid grief intentionally.

Life simply keeps demanding more from them.

Eventually grief waits...
until they finally stop.

Identity is often the hidden part of grief nobody talks about.

Loss isn't only losing someone.

Sometimes it's losing who we believed ourselves to be.

Many people don't avoid grief because they're strong.

They avoid it because life won't stop.

Business.
Children.
Bills.
Responsibilities.

Until one day the emotions catch up.

How many people quietly tell themselves this every single day?

10/07/2026

Sometimes one question changes everything.

You've listed everything you've done for everyone else...

But what about you?

When was the last time somebody genuinely asked how YOU were?

10/07/2026

Sometimes healing doesn't begin by thinking harder.

It begins by meeting the part of ourselves still living in the past.
