Amy Hale Hypnotherapist and writer
I help people shift subconscious patterns through hypnotherapy and coaching. Sessions available online and in person.

I work with people who are stuck in some part of their lives due to anxiety, overthinking, and depression. I help them create a mindset that gives them relief from their previous struggles, so they can create a better, happier life.

You're not losing your mind.
You just live in two different realities.
The one everyone else sees. And the one that happens when the door closes.
And the worst part isn't what happens behind that door.
It's standing in a room full of people watching them perform — and knowing nobody would believe you if you said a word.
That's not crazy.
That's what it looks like when someone needs the audience more than they need the truth.

Most people don't need more information.

They need a different explanation.

If you've spent years calling yourself lazy, broken, resistant, self-sabotaging, or "just like this," there's a good chance you've been trying to solve the wrong problem.

As a hypnotherapist, I spend a lot of time explaining something people rarely hear:

Many of the behaviors you're fighting aren't character flaws. They're subconscious patterns.

That's why willpower alone often doesn't work.

Hypnosis isn't about losing control.

It's about changing the subconscious patterns that keep repeating the same thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

You can't out-discipline a subconscious pattern.

You can't shame a nervous system into feeling safe.

And you can't heal by continuing to call yourself the problem.

That's the work I do through hypnosis.

Which one have you been calling yourself?

I rediscovered someone I follow this week.

Not because I searched for them.

Not because I re-followed them.

They just randomly appeared in my feed after what felt like forever.

Which led to an uncomfortable question:

If that's who suddenly reappeared...

What else am I not seeing?

And not just on social media.

You want what change promises.

The confidence.
The freedom.
The healthier body.
The better relationship.
The bigger life.

But change itself? That's the part most people aren't prepared for.

Because change asks you to let go of what's familiar before you've experienced what's possible.

That's why so many people turn back.

Not because they don't want the destination.

Because the path feels uncomfortable.

Here's a part of the trail people don't expect:

Discomfort is not always a sign you're on the wrong path. Sometimes it's evidence you've finally left the old one.

Most people don't need more motivation.

They need a moment to come back to themselves.

Not every day requires a breakthrough. Not every problem needs to be solved right now. Sometimes the next right step is simply pausing long enough to hear yourself think.

This Sherpa Moment is your reminder that you don't have to carry everything at once.

Save this for the days when life feels louder than you do.

You already know what you should do.
So why aren't you doing it?
It's not laziness. It's not weakness. It's not a character flaw.
It's your subconscious still running a program that made sense once — and doesn't anymore.
Hypnosis works because it goes where logic can't.
Drop your thing in the comments. Let's see if it can help.

You’re constantly consuming, processing, and reacting. You aren’t actually relaxing right now; you just think you are.
Take one, real, deep breath. Feel the physical weight of your phone in your hand. It’s heavier than you thought, isn’t it?
You don’t have to put it down, but you could. And if you choose to go back to scrolling, do it knowing it’s a choice, not an autopilot reflex.
Take one more breath. You’re in control.

Why Follow
I’m here to help you bridge the gap between "knowing" you should take care of yourself and actually doing it. If you want to stop living on autopilot, master your subconscious habits, and learn how to actually like your life rather than just surviving it, hit that follow button. Let’s rewire your brain together.
