Plot twist: you’re not actually the villain. 😂

You just stopped over-explaining.
Stopped softening every no.
Stopped adding “sorry” to perfectly reasonable boundaries.
Stopped writing a three-paragraph emotional support document so nobody could possibly misunderstand you.

And apparently, when people are used to unlimited access to you, a simple “no, that doesn’t work for me” can feel a little ✨ aggressive ✨.

Let them adjust. 😂

Because somewhere along the way, we forgot:

No is a complete sentence.

You don’t need a closing argument.
You don’t need supporting evidence.
You don’t need to make your boundary comfortable for everyone else.

Sometimes the whole villain era is simply:

No. ❤️

No paragraph.
No apology.
No nervous system hangover from abandoning yourself afterwards.

Character development, bestie. 😌😂

And if reading “no is a complete sentence” made your entire nervous system go, “absolutely f*cking not, that sounds terrifying”…

Well. 😂

Maybe that’s exactly what we need to explore.

Book a session. Let’s find out why your no feels so damn hard to say. ❤️

CARD OF THE DAY 🌕
15. WOMB OF SORROWS
The pain you held for others.

Of course this is the card that wanted to come through as we move through the Pisces Full Moon + lunar eclipse. 🥹

Eclipses have a way of illuminating what has been sitting beneath the surface.

And under Pisces, we’re invited into the deeper waters.

Into grief.
Memory.
Emotion.
The unseen.
The places where the edges between mine and yours can become a little blurry.

Which makes Womb of Sorrows feel particularly potent.

Because sometimes the heaviness we are carrying isn’t only about what is happening right now.

Sometimes we are carrying old grief.

The things we never got to say.
The emotions we learned to swallow.
The pain we absorbed from the women around us.
The roles we inherited.
The responsibility we took on for everybody else.
The stories that existed long before we had language for them.

And sometimes a season like this doesn’t arrive asking us to analyse every single thread.

Sometimes it simply asks:

Is this still mine to carry?

This card carries the reminder:

You are not a container for other people’s pain.

You can love people without carrying for them.

You can honour the women who came before you without repeating their suffering.

You can acknowledge what happened without making your body its permanent resting place.

Maybe this eclipse isn’t asking you to become someone new.

Maybe it’s revealing what you’ve been carrying that was never yours to take with you.

Your womb is a living temple.
Not a tomb for old sorrow.

So perhaps your ritual is simply to place your hands over your womb — or your lower belly if womb language isn’t yours — and ask:

What am I ready to stop carrying?
What belongs to me?
What doesn’t?
And who might I become when I finally put it down?

Send to your Bestie who held your hand through this week. 😵‍💫😅

Apparently eclipse season said we’re not doing subtle. 😂🌕

One minute you’re minding your own business, feeling reasonably emotionally stable… the next you’re crying in the bath, questioning the entire plotline of your life and uncovering something you thought you dealt with three character arcs ago.

And yes, sometimes it feels dramatic.

But maybe “dramatic” is just what we call it when something we’ve been holding quietly finally gets loud enough to be felt.

So if you’ve been a little tender, messy, emotional or existential lately… welcome to the club. 😂

We’re feeling it, letting it move, and trying not to make any major life decisions from the bathtub.

Very chic. Very eclipse season. 🌕✨

26/08/2026

This eclipse portal has felt like a full surrender.

Not the pretty kind. 😂

The kind where it felt like everything I could normally hold onto was being stripped away, and I just had to let myself be in it.

On Monday night I lay in the bath and, for what felt like the first time, really sat with the experience of what it has meant to be a girl and a woman in this lifetime.

To live for such a large part of my life feeling like I was inside a body I didn’t have control over.

To disconnect from her.
To override her.
To leave her when being inside her didn’t feel safe.

And then I realised just how much of these last few years has actually been about coming back.

Learning to stay with my body.

Learning to listen to her.

Learning that I don’t have to leave myself when something feels uncomfortable, intense, vulnerable or even pleasurable.

Learning that this body is mine.

And then today I pulled this card from my new oracle deck Womb Rites:

The Ancestral Mother.
You are now the keeper of the threads.

And wow. 🥹

Because maybe being the keeper of the threads doesn’t mean carrying everything that came before us.

Maybe it means becoming conscious enough to decide which threads continue.

Which ones end with us.

Which ones we weave differently.

And which new ones we begin for the women who will come after us.

There is something incredibly powerful about realising that we are not only somebody’s daughter.

We are somebody’s ancestor.

What was and what will be meet here.

In us.

And perhaps the greatest act of reverence for the women who came before us isn’t repeating everything they carried…

but allowing ourselves to weave something different. 🧶🌹

We are both memory and seed.

This is uncomfortable to talk about.

But I think we need to stop confusing discomfort with something that shouldn’t be discussed.

Because somewhere, there is a woman who has spent years carrying a question she has been too ashamed to say out loud:

If my body responded, does that mean some part of me wanted it?

This has been one of the hardest parts of reconciling my own childhood experiences.

Not only understanding what happened to me, but understanding what my body did during experiences I did not choose.

And learning that those are two very different things.

The body has nerves.
The body has reflexes.
The body responds to stimulation.

Arousal does not require desire.

Or**sm does not require consent.

And a child experiencing sensation does not suddenly make that child a participant in what an adult chose to do to them.

My body did not betray me.

Those words have taken me a long time to truly sit with.

Because shame can convince you that your body’s response says something about your character, your desires, your responsibility or even who you are.

It doesn’t.

And this is why hearing someone publicly argue that a woman must have experienced some level of enjoyment because her body orgasmed made me feel physically sick.

Because language matters.

Somewhere, another survivor hears those words and wonders again whether the shame really does belong to her.

It doesn’t.

I also think this is why we have to be willing to have conversations that make people uncomfortable.

Sexual abuse and assault affect far more people than the silence surrounding them would have us believe.

And when we put language around the things people have been carrying alone, sometimes someone finally gets to realise:

Oh. It wasn’t just me.
My body wasn’t the guilty one.

So I will keep saying the uncomfortable thing.

Arousal is not desire.
Or**sm is not consent.
A body responding is not permission.

And maybe every time we say it out loud, another woman gets to put down a little of the shame that was never hers to carry.

There is a particular kind of grief in realising how many women have spent their lives living inside bodies they were never fully taught belonged to them.

Bodies that were commented on.
Controlled.
Compared.
Objectified.
Crossed.
Silenced.
Expected to give.

And sometimes harmed before they even had the language to understand what was happening.

A child’s nervous system is wired for connection and survival. Sometimes staying attached means freezing, fawning, complying, disconnecting from sensation, or enduring what should never have been theirs to endure.

And years later, she may finally find language for what happened.

Emotion for the betrayal.

Context for what her body has carried.

And instead of simply being believed, she can find herself explaining her survival.

Why didn’t you speak?
Why didn’t you leave?
Why did you go back?
Why now?

But survival was never consent.

And the shame was never hers to carry.

I think there is a rage that comes when a woman begins to see just how much of herself she has abandoned in order to belong, be loved, stay safe, keep the peace or remain acceptable.

And I think there is something sacred about that rage too.

Because sometimes it is the first voice inside her that says:

Enough.

Especially when she looks at the girls coming behind her and realises she does not want them inheriting the same relationship with their bodies.

So she begins reclaiming herself.

Not perfectly.
Not all at once.

Piece by piece.

Her body.
Her boundaries.
Her needs.
Her pleasure.
Her anger.
Her softness.
Her voice.
Her no.
Her yes.

And this is how a lineage changes.

This is how society changes.

One woman decides her body belongs to her.

Another woman sees her doing it.

And another.

And another.

Until, one by one, we begin reclaiming what was taken and remembering what was always ours.

And perhaps this is the journey home—

walking whole, holy and wild.

Somewhere along the way, having needs became something to be ashamed of.

We learned to be easy.
Low maintenance.
Independent.
The one who could handle everything herself.

And then wondered why admitting “I need you” felt so damn vulnerable.

But having needs isn’t the same as being needy.

You are a human being wired for connection, co-regulation, intimacy and belonging. You were never supposed to become so independent that you needed nothing from anyone.

Sometimes healing looks like letting yourself say:

I need support.
I need reassurance.
I need affection.
I need space.
I need to be considered.
I need you.

Without immediately apologising for it.

Because maybe the work was never learning how to need less.

Maybe it was learning that you can have needs and still be deeply loved.

The Sacred Spiral Journal 🌀🌙

The stunning artwork from Womb Rites continues into these pages, created by the incredibly talented Alexandra Gallagher and brought to life with Blue Angel Publishing — and it feels like such a beautiful extension of the deck.

My intention for this journal was never to give women another way to track, perfect or control their bodies.

It was to create a place to meet yourself.

To begin noticing the inner seasons of your menstrual cycle.
To explore the lunar cycle as a mirror.
To recognise your rhythms, your energy, your emotions, your needs — and slowly learn what it feels like to work with your body rather than against it.

The journal can be used as a companion alongside the Womb Rites deck, allowing you to take the cards and their invitations even deeper. But it has also been intentionally designed as a standalone journal — so you don’t need the deck to begin working with it.

And there is no right place to begin.

You don’t need to start on day one of your bleed.
You don’t need to wait for a new moon.
You don’t need to have a regular cycle.

You simply enter the spiral wherever you are. 🌀

Because this journal isn’t really about getting your cycle “right.”

It’s about ritual.

Creating little moments where you stop. Sit. Listen. Check in.

What season am I in?
What is my body asking for today?
What am I noticing about myself here?

And perhaps, over time, remembering that your body was never something you needed to work against.

It was something you could learn to be in relationship with. 🤍
