Good day, Brackenhurst Vet Clients!

We have some bittersweet news to share.
Our wonderful trainer, Kim, is moving to the Garden Route. We wish her all the very best and will truly miss her warm energy and expertise.

But the good news?
Aungie is stepping in to continue this important work right here at Brackenhurst Vet!
Aungie is no stranger to our community. For 6 years, she was a familiar and friendly face at reception on weekends while completing her Diploma in Animal Behaviour with COAPE International and growing her own successful training practice.
Her typical clients usually consist of dogs with complex challenges, including aggression, separation-related problems, lead reactivity (lunging and barking), compulsive behaviours, anxiety, and phobias. At the same time, she is deeply passionate about guiding puppies and young dogs so they grow into happy, confident, and well-adjusted adults.

New Group Classes Starting Soon!
• Puppy 1: The Hairy Pawters. Start date: Saturday, June 20th at 9am. Perfect for puppies 8-16 weeks old. Learn the foundations: sit, down, leave it, socialisation, confidence building, potty training tips, etc.
• Puppy 2: HufflePups. Start date: Saturday June 20th at 10:30am. Next-level training for graduates of Puppy 1 or confident young puppies. Advance skills with impulse control, stay, life skills etc.
• Adult Beginner: Sherlock Bones. Start date: Wednesday, June 17th at 4pm. Ideal for dogs 6 months and older who have had little or no previous training.

What makes Aungie’s classes special?
She personally works on each dog’s individual needs during every group session. You’ll receive tailored advice and solutions for your dog’s unique personality, challenges, and goals — all while enjoying the structure, socialisation, and support of a small group class.
Classes are kept deliberately small, only using positive, force-free methods, and take place in the beautiful garden at Brackenhurst Vet. Expect a fun, supportive, and stress-free environment for both you and your dog.
Give your dog the training they deserve and build the calm, happy relationship you’ve always wanted.
