What People With IBD and Chronic Illness Wish You Knew 💜
Sometimes it’s not that we don’t want to make plans, or that we’re unreliable.
It’s that our bodies can change minute by minute.
One minute we’re feeling okay and looking forward to something. The next, we could be dealing with excruciating pain, overwhelming fatigue, or symptoms that make leaving the house impossible.
We can’t always predict when a flare or bad day will happen — and that can make making and keeping plans incredibly difficult.
Please remember, we’re not cancelling because we don’t care. Sometimes our bodies simply don’t give us a choice. 💜
Thank you, LeAnna, for sharing this important reminder with us. 💜

💜 What I Wish More People Knew About IBD part 3

Sometimes the things people with IBD wish others understood aren’t the things you expect.

It’s the appointments.
The uncertainty.
The things we lose.
The invisible battles.
And even the strange reality of having a good day and still having IBD.

For this series, real people living with IBD have shared their own words and experiences — the things they wish more people truly understood.

These aren’t just quotes. They’re real lives. Real experiences. Real voices. 💜

Take a moment to listen. You might understand IBD a little differently because of them.

💜 What I Wish More People Knew About IBD ( part 2 )

Behind every diagnosis is a person with a story, experiences, losses, challenges and strength that others may never see.
For this series, real people living with IBD have shared something they wish more people understood.
These are their words.
Their experiences.
Their truths. 💜
Because sometimes, the best way to understand IBD is simply to listen to those living it.
Swipe through, take a moment, and hear what they wish the world knew. 💜

Shared with love to all our beautiful Warriors from Crohn's and Colitis Awareness

Today, we want to remind people that Crohn's and Colitis do not look the same for everyone.

Two people can have the same diagnosis and live completely different experiences.

One person's struggles may be visible. Another person's may be hidden.

Neither experience is less real. Neither person is "more sick" because their journey looks different.
